A3 has provided a number of social elements that allow you to add relational links to your alien’s life. No longer will your alien have to trudge through the endless realms of space alone. Friends, family and love interests are all available to be added to your account.

Friends
You can add friends by going into their details screen and by using the options presented to you on the left. You may also add friends from your house.

Family and Dating
Once in Georgetown, under Government District click the City Registry link. It will enable you to begin adding family and love interests. Please note, aliens cannot have sex. That's why there aren't any biological children!

There are three links in the City Registry:

Register for committed relationship status: This link allows you to ‘ask an alien out’, entering an alien ID will notify your intended partner that you wish to date them. They will have to enter the city registry and use this link to confirm they wish to date you.
NOTE: Both people have to be at least 30 days old in order to start dating.

File intent to partner: This link is used by aliens who have been dating for 30 days or over, it will notify your partner that you wish to marry them and spend eternity with them in marital bliss (or not!). Your partner will also have to register that they wish to marry you, and then it’s off to locate a priest to bless the happy union.

Register family unit: This area of the City Registry allows you to register family members i.e. Brothers and Sisters, and a Mother and Father, it works much like registering friends, although in this instance, the alien you enter as a family member will also have to register you as a corresponding family member.

Profiles
Every account has a profile by default. In your profile you can list your personal stats like age, name, instant messaging addresses and can even upload 3 pictures/images of yourself. Other players also have the ability to write you profile messages.

Statuses
You can let everybody know what you're up to by changing your status. You will see the status box in the right sidebar at your house.
