Jobs

Having a job is an integral part of your alien's life. However, it might be a little confusing after you turn 31 days old and start searching for a job. To clear some things up, there are two kinds of jobs in a3.

The first kind is jobs at the Employment Agency. Once you turn 31 days old, you stop receiving your daily welfare check and are instead encouraged to get a job at the Employment Agency. Jobs there are not real 'big' money makers. Basically, you'll be assigned to a specific boss. From there, that boss will give you certain jobs which involve you finding items in the Pit. Once you find the item and bring it back to your boss, you get the credits. These jobs are pretty tedious though, and the payments are not that high. While its good if you're short for credits, its not something you want to do if you are trying to save up money to subscribe.

The other type of a job is better known as a career. Careers are not jobs in the sense that you have a boss that you report to and gives you a salary. Instead, you study in a certain area, work in it, and sell your products at the marketplace. If you read the Studies Guide, you'll see that there are all kinds of classes you can take at the Study Hall in Campus Prime that will let you follow a certain career. Overall, there are quite a few careers to follow. The two most popular are Fishing and Mining. You can learn more about them by checking out the Advanced Guides Database and reading the appropriate guides. Overall, you make most of your money in A3 by choosing a specific career and making money in it.
