A3 has provided a number of social elements that allow you to add relational links to your alien’s life. No longer will your alien have to trudge through the endless realms of space alone. Friends, family and love interests are all available to be added to your account.
Friends You can add friends by going into their profile page (more information can be found here.) You may also add friends from your house when you receive a request.

Profiles Every account has a profile by default. In your profile you can list your personal stats like age, name, instant messaging addresses and can even upload 3 pictures/images of yourself. Other players also have the ability to write you profile messages.
Statuses You can let everybody know what you're up to by changing your status. You will see the status box in the right sidebar at your house.
