The sight of a glittering pile of scarlet ore has turned many peaceful, relaxed aliens into maniacs with bushy, unkempt eyebrows, forsaking all but the pursuit of more ore.<br><br>Ore is used to <a href=?loc=smith>smith</a> weapons and armor. It is also used to repair those very same weapons and armor when they get damaged in combat. The better ore is located farther down, with Scarlet located on the very bottom level. You can't dig through hedges, rocks, or water, you need saws, TNT, and buckets for that. These items are found randomly while mining in the pit, and can also be bought in the <a href=?loc=buyingselling>Marketplace</a>.<br><br>Once you've completely mined out a location, or there are too many hazards for you to deal with, you can click <b>Change mining spot</b> to move to a new mining location, which takes 10 motivation.<br><br>Finally, your knowledge in mining increases 2 points after mining {<font style="color:#ff0000;">amount</font>} of ore in a day, and this increase can only happen once per day.
