The Georgetown CDC, located in Georgetown's Government Row, exists to identify and cure aliens with the z.Noman virus. There are two types of this virus: type 1 and type 2. The type 1 virus infects 30 random aliens each day, these aliens are known as virus hosts. If an alien attacks a z.Noman host, then that alien becomes infected with z.Noman type 2 and becomes a virus carrier who can then spread type 2 to other aliens through battling.

All aliens with type 2 have the infected icon (). Type 1 host aliens usually have the icon as well but sometimes they may not have it, so unsuspecting aliens may catch type 2 in a battle against someone they thought was clean.

After 5% of the alien population has been infected with either type of the virus each day, the CDC is opened and you can choose to investigate an unsolved case file on one of the original 30 virus hosts for that day. Once you choose a case file, you are allowed to enter IDs of potential "suspects". Every time you enter a guess, you must wait 2 minutes to review the case further, and then one new piece of information about the virus host alien is updated. This update is usually non-descript, giving you a range (above, below or rarely exact) from a point based off the previously-guessed alien. The battle trace is a very useful tool for narrowing down your search. If you guess the virus host alien for your case file correctly, the results are shown instantly.

When you solve a CDC case, you gain the the Infection Killer attribute, which gives you a 15% attack bonus versus all infected aliens that day. This increases by 5% for every CDC case you solve until reset, up to a max of {need to enter max percentage here}.
